The Growing Aged Care Crisis

A number of issues critical to industry. Recently, I have a comment that a facility "is not fit for habitation" to motivate the investigation of two issues. These are related to patient care and staff levels. I tend to highlight these issues further.

Good way to highlight the lack of patient care recently presented a case study of the event is through.

Last year, a woman was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. By the end of last year her condition had significantly deteriorated and her husband and daughter were taking care of him. He requires 24 hour care. He had movement in his legs and wanted to be in a facility. His hand movements were also restricted.

Her husband and daughter in their management were desperate for some professional help. Given this, they book him temporarily in such an aged care facility to receive better care from trained professionals observed.

After the first night spent at the facility, the patient came to him and her husband immediately got texted. Based on the lack of care facilities did not want to.

Initial investigation revealed that there were breaches of the facility many. For this reason, her husband's aged care complaints commissioner. Further investigation revealed that his wife was not found drugs at the time. In addition, repositioning and reduction of problems with bed rails were. Aged care facilities also face staffing issues. Due to the remote location of some of these features, they have failed to attract highly qualified staff.
